During this time of uncertainty, everyone has different ways to cope. As the days and weeks go on, we will need to come together to rely on one another to put our best foot forward. I am starting my blog back up to start the conversation for some and remind others that we do not need other physical spaces to create happiness. Especially when some of them left to their own devices to self-isolate.
Here I will put links to videos that can help get you moving and point you in the direction of businesses that are looking to help contribute to creating a healthy practice in all facets of life. I would love for you to help contribute to creating this space along with me, inviting me to reflect on how you pass your time in isolation or helping others.
The first link I would like to introduce you to is a Yoga practice I have participated in for over 3 years. Her name is Adriene and she has videos for the good times and the bad, helping anyone who steps onto the mat. Here is a link to her yoga practice, this one reflecting on “Yoga for the Future” it is a video for 29 minutes. I welcome you to check out her YouTube page for all types of practices, from beginner to more experienced, a few minutes to hour-long sessions.
This next page is not one I have physically experienced in person, meaning their practices in malls or studios. Lululemon has stepped up to bring the practice of all types over video on their website and on their social media stories. Check out this link to see if any fit your needs, as they call it a way to "release your indoorphins".
Using resources like these can help anyone take the indoor blues and turn it into a personalized workout in minutes. Utilizing all the different types of videos to fit any mood or time frame can help create a positive routine beyond the quarantine. Also do not forget to take some time and get some fresh air, even if it is raining take those minutes to smell the fresh air and embrace what is yet to come.
Comment and let me know what you are doing to stay active but remain socially distanced.
P.s. I do not own the video or linked content, only sharing for others to join along with me.
